خبر مهم در مورد سرور سه لینوکس

سرور شماره سه لینوکس که جدیدا راه اندازی گردیده است تا به حال سه مرتبه خود به خود خاموش شده است و مجددا پس از ری استارت کردن آن روشن شده است. پس از صحبت با دیتاسنتر گفتند که باید بررسی سخت افزاری انجام دهند که این امر ممکن است 10 ساعت به طول انجامد و در این مدت سرور از دسترس خارج میشود. لذا در صورتی که باز هم سرور خود به خود خاموش شد ناچار هستم تا چک سخت افزاری را به دیتاسنتر محول کنم.

We can offer to perform a single hardware check on the server. This involves the
testing of all hardware incl. RAM, CPU, NIC and, if present, hardware RAID Controller.

The hard disks will also be examined for bad sectors in read-only mode. Depending
on the server architecture this can take up to 10 hours. The server will not be
available for the duration of the hardware check. Should faults be detected during
the hardware check, the faulty components are replaced immediately.

Hard disks are an exception. Should we discover that one hard disk is faulty, we
shall clarify the future course of action with you first.

This gives you the opportunity to back up data before the hard disk is replaced.
After the hardware check has been completed, you will receive an email with the
results of the hardware check and details of action taken. We bring the server
back online at the end of the check so that
it is reachable again.
